How it works

Every project filed with the city — before your competitors finish their coffee.

Who's building, what it's worth, and the phone number to call. PermitChampion turns each city's daily permit filings into a morning call list, with a named contractor on every single lead.

How it works.

Three steps, and the first one takes about ten seconds.

1

Drop your email

Your email, and which cities you want in it. No trades to pick, no filters to set — no city files enough permits a day to bother. You get every one that qualifies.

2

$89/mo — flat

No per-lead pricing games, no tiers, no per-city upcharge. One price covers every city we track — every permit with the contractor's name and phone number, all of them, in your inbox by 7 AM and saved to your account. Land a job in 30 days or it's free.

3

Call before anyone else

The job is public the moment it's filed. Most of your competitors find out when the fence goes up — you'll know at breakfast, with the contractor's name and number already attached.

Why this isn't like the lead sites that burned you.

You're tired of paying for leads that go nowhere. So we built the opposite of that.

They're real — provably.

Every lead is an actual City of Seattle building permit, public record. Nothing invented, nothing recycled. One click opens the city's own file on any of them.

A real contractor on every one.

No address-only "leads." If it's in your feed there's a named company — with a phone number on about 9 in 10, plus licence status and who to ask for.

Capped seats, so leads stay winnable.

We limit how many people get the feed. A lead fifty people already called is worthless — that's the whole racket we're not running.

You don't pay unless it works.

Land a paying job in your first 30 days or it's free — a full refund. No lock-in, no games. We only want your money if the leads make you money.

What's actually on a lead.

Each one is a permit the city issued, enriched so you can pick up the phone without doing any homework.

The job

Declared project value, the scope of work in the city's own words, the address and ZIP, and the date it was issued — so you know how fresh it is.

The company

The contractor of record named on the permit, with their direct phone number on roughly 9 in 10 leads.

The person

The principal listed on their state licence — so you can ask for someone by name instead of "whoever handles subs."

The paperwork

Licence number and status straight from Washington State L&I, plus a one-click link to the city's own permit record.

Where we cover.

One subscription covers every city on this list. You pick your home cities — those land in your daily email — and you can open any of the others from your account whenever you want work outside your usual patch.

WA

Seattle

City of Seattle SDCI. Permits $10K and up, matched against the Washington State L&I registry for the phone number and licence status.

TX

Austin

City of Austin Development Services. Building permits with a valuation and the contractor's phone already on the filing — roughly 400 a month.

NY

New York

NYC Dept. of Buildings. The richest feed we have — permittee name, phone, licence type, licence number and the individual who pulled the permit. No job value published, so those leads say so.

+

Your city next

We add a city when its permit data is public, daily, and names the contractor. Want yours? Tell us which one — we prioritise by what subscribers ask for.

Fair questions.

Where does the data come from? Are the leads real?

They're real, and we're happy to tell you exactly what they are: actual City of Seattle building permits — public record — matched against the Washington State L&I contractor registry for the phone number and licence status. Nothing scraped from sketchy places, nothing made up. What you're paying for is that we find them first, name the contractor, attach the number and licence, and land it at breakfast, every day, so you don't have to.

Can I see the numbers before I pay?

Yes. Our free Seattle building permit activity page breaks down every permit the city issued in the last year — by type, neighbourhood and month — including how few of them actually name a contractor. Read that before you pay us anything. The live feed on the home page is also free to browse; only the contractor name and phone are held back.

Do I have to pick trades or set filters?

No. Signup is just your email. Seattle doesn't file enough permits in a day to justify slicing them up — you get every permit that has a contractor's contact information on it.

Is this a marketplace? Will GCs or homeowners see me?

No. It's a one-way feed. No profiles, no bidding, nobody knows who subscribes. You get the information; the phone call is yours to make.

Why cap the number of subscribers?

Because a lead everyone has is a lead nobody wins. If fifty people call the same contractor the same morning, the feed is worthless — so we cap seats per metro area to keep every lead callable. When it's full, it's full until someone leaves.

Which areas do you cover?

Seattle. Every lead is a City of Seattle permit, so the job site is always inside the city — we'd rather cover one city properly than list a map full of places we can't actually source. Note that a contractor's office is sometimes elsewhere; when it is, the lead says so.

What's the guarantee, exactly?

Subscribe, and if you don't land a paying job from a lead in your first 30 days, email us and we refund the whole month — no questions, no forms. One guarantee per customer.

How do I cancel?

Reply "cancel" to any morning email, or write to hello@permitchampion.com. Done the same day, no phone tree, no guilt trip.
