Privacy Policy
PermitChampion (“we,” “us”) provides a daily email of Seattle building-permit leads to subcontractors and suppliers. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Questions: hello@permitchampion.com.
What we collect
- Account details — your email, and optionally your name and company, when you subscribe.
- Your preferences — the trades, ZIP codes, and budget range you choose, so we can filter your leads.
- Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Usage data — basic analytics (pages visited, referring source) to understand and improve the service.
The lead data itself
The permits and contractor details we send are drawn from public records — the City of Seattle’s published permit dataset and the Washington State L&I contractor registry. That information is public and is not personal data about you.
How we use your information
- To deliver your daily leads and run your account.
- To process your subscription payment.
- To respond to you and send service-related messages.
We do not sell your information
You are the customer, not the product. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. It is one-way: nobody can see who subscribes.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run PermitChampion: Stripe (payments), our email provider (delivery), our hosting/database provider, and analytics. Each handles data on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention & your choices
We keep your information while your subscription is active. You can unsubscribe from any email, and you may request access to or deletion of your data anytime by emailing hello@permitchampion.com.
